We’re Heading to Event X

On 1 June, I’ll be heading to Event X at Venue Y with the SSUK team, and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ll be based at Stand 1, so if you’re attending, do come by and say hello.
Events like this are always valuable - not just because of what’s new, but because they give us a chance to step back and look at what actually works in real environments. There’s always a lot of technology on show, but the key question for us is simple: how does this help people day to day?
Too often, AV and digital systems are presented in a way that feels overcomplicated. Lots of features, lots of terminology—but not always a clear sense of how it fits into an environment or supports the people using it. That’s where our focus sits.
Over the course of the day, we’ll be speaking with suppliers, exploring new products and looking at how emerging technologies can be applied across education, healthcare, workplace and public environments. But we’ll also be asking some very practical questions. Does this make things easier for the end user? Will it integrate smoothly into an existing space? Is it something that will continue to perform over time?
For us, it’s always about cutting through the noise and focusing on what genuinely adds value—solutions that are practical, reliable and easy to use.
