Fife Sports & Leisure Trust operates a network of leisure facilities serving communities across Fife, the third largest Scottish local authority by population. As part of an ongoing programme of investment, the Trust wanted to modernise visitor communications through a consistent digital signage platform that could be managed centrally while enhancing the visitor experience across multiple sites.
Advise
The project began by understanding how visitors moved through each facility and where digital signage would have the greatest impact. Working closely with the Trust, consideration was given to visitor journeys, high-footfall areas, wayfinding requirements and promotional opportunities.
Plan
A structured rollout plan was developed to create a consistent signage experience across multiple leisure facilities while accommodating the unique requirements of each site. Screen sizes, formats and locations were carefully planned to maximise visibility and engagement.
Deliver
SSUK delivered the installation across multiple leisure venues, including Michael Woods Sports & Leisure Centre and Carnegie Leisure Centre.
The project incorporated large-format displays, touchscreen totems and a centrally managed signage network.
Support
Following installation, SSUK supported the configuration and handover of the signage platform, ensuring staff could confidently manage content and schedules across multiple sites.
