The Football Association of Wales is the governing body for football in Wales, supporting the development of the game at every level while managing international fixtures, media activity and stakeholder engagement. The organisation required a modern press conference and briefing facility capable of supporting media events, presentations and internal communications while delivering a professional, broadcast-ready experience.

Advise

SSUK worked closely with the Football Association of Wales to understand how the space would be used by media teams, presenters and stakeholders. The focus was on creating a flexible environment capable of supporting press conferences, presentations and hybrid events, while ensuring systems remained straightforward and intuitive for staff to operate. Consideration was also given to audio quality, lighting and content presentation to ensure the facility met the expectations of a modern media environment.

Plan

A fully integrated solution was developed, combining presentation technology, professional audio, lighting and intuitive control into a single platform. The design centred around a dual-display approach, allowing the space to support multiple event formats while maintaining a consistent user experience. The underlying infrastructure was designed to provide flexibility, scalability and long-term reliability.

Deliver

SSUK delivered the complete installation, integration and commissioning of the briefing room. This included presentation displays, projection systems, professional audio, microphone systems, lighting controls and media distribution facilities. The project was delivered alongside wider refurbishment works, ensuring all systems were installed, tested and commissioned in line with programme requirements.

Support

Following installation, SSUK provided testing, commissioning, training and ongoing remote support. The control system was programmed to simplify operation for users, ensuring the facility could continue to support media events and communications activity with confidence.
